"Back in the day, every American male was required to serve two years in the branch of his choosing. And he needed to do it in his 18–26-year-old window. If not, he faced federal charges and imprisonment."

Where the F did you find that nonsense, or did you just dream it in your sleep one night? There was a draft for a while, and if your number was called and you couldn't get out of it, yeah, you had to enlist. But it was world's away from "every American male". And if you were rich, like tRump, you could weasel your way out of it even if your number was called.

If you write crap like this, it indicates that everything you write should be doubted.
