Blah, blah. Just like the "uncaused cause" ideas proposed by another writer here at Medium. You don't say it, but it is easy to glean from this story that the intention was to support the theory that God created the universe.

This is the new trend of religion advocates. Evolution shows that god did not create man or other creatures on Earth, so that part of the Bible is proven wrong, and we know that the Earth is billions of years old, so no way god created the world in 7 days. Even the "intelligent design" sales people have been basically silenced. So now the religious barkers go all the way back to the beginning, to say that god caused the Big Bang - prove them wrong.

But if god could do something like the Big Bang, why wouldn't he create the Earth and man and all the creatures? If he was omnipotent, would he really just create an explosion and then kick back? Maybe he was just fooling around, an ancient version of Sim World? Makes about as much sense as anything in the bible.
