Everybody holds prejudices, including racial prejudices. Sometimes they are very subtle, sometimes you don't even know you have such prejudices until some event causes them to bubble to the surface. And we should all work on our prejudices, but that is not always easy or successful. What is really most important for people (IMHO) is three things:
-- They recognize their prejudices;
-- They try to subdue or even eliminate their prejudices;
-- They don't allow their prejudices to translate into racist activity, including words.
