Gabrielle - I know you were sincere in this endeavor, but you seem to be trying to teach people concepts you are only marginally familiar with. OK, you have read Hazlitt. That is one perspective. Now read something by Keynes or Galbreath. Or if you want to be more contemporary, Paul Krugman. If you want to get a fuller understanding of economics, you need to go deeper.
