Gee, thanks Catherine. I'm thrilled to have risen to the top of your list of White People to Deprecate. I have never had the honor of being a central figure in someone's published story. I've copied the URL and am sending it to my friends and family - unlike you, they know me and my history, and they'll get a kick out of it. Of course, I never thought that cherry picking comments of individuals and posting them as the meat of a story was very inventive or original, but what do I know? Tweets, maybe, but this is a new world.

I have to admit that the label "White Woker" is very cute, very clever. Much more bouncy than its boring equivalent "virtue signaler". "White Woker" has much more punch as a label. I considered responding by picking a few of the phrases you wrote that offend me, and then add some funny phrase to label you with. But I find that to be pedantic and shallow, a poor way to write no matter how many clever witticisms surround it.

I hope that you are finding peace with these stories, in some bizarre way. Plenty of other White Wokers out there - just read most of the comments here. But keep the stories coming. Some people seem to get wisdom out of them. And, you know, sticks and stones - I will continue to add my critiques - of your articles - regardless of what you say about me personally.
