Geez, I thought your whole schtick was unadulterated nihilism. I guess I hadn't seen examples of racist blamestorming and guilt tripping in your writing, but here it is.

So let me summarize your screed: White people didn't REALLY care about: the Muslim ban, kids in cages, Covid deaths, fascism, or "Hate, scapegoating, dehumanisation, bans, camps, raids, genocide, mass death." They just PRETENDED to care at first then went back to their lattes. Right? Does that cover it?

So what do we do now? You seem to be convinced that because everything didn't immediately turn around, it was because White people stopped caring. I don't know Umair, what are YOU going to do? What are YOU doing to reunite immigrant kids with their families? What are YOU doing to end the pandemic? What are YOU doing to fight against fascism? You think Whites don't do enough, so what are YOU actually doing about any of it, other than writing articles that blame White people?

After George Floyd was murdered last year, there was a huge outcry nationwide. But it wasn't just Blacks or minorities in the streets, there were , and are, millions of "White liberals" standing side-by-side and getting beaten and arrested. Yeah the very people that you despise and distrust. White people have died protesting racial injustice, just not enough of them to satisfy you.

You are flat wrong about almost everything you said in this diatribe. But you can't see it, because your hatred of White people makes you blind to anything good we do. Your response to "White allyship" (a term your side coined) is "Yes, they helped this time, but they won't be here next time". Essentially, there really is nothing White people can do to convince you we are on your side. Unless we empty our bank accounts into the coffers of BLM, denounce ourselves, and genuflect to the superior moral values and wisdom of our minority friends. It is hopeless because, as Marley K. wrote, Yes, All White People are Racist.

Your anger and bitterness and racial biases are going to eat you alive. As it stands now, they are simply making you blind and deaf to the good around you, and you are going to find yourself increasingly isolated.

And having read a few of your pieces, I don't trust you either. By the way, genius, there were many predictions, mostly by White people that you despise, that the virus would cause 200-300- 400 thousand deaths in the first year, some as high as 2.2 million. All of which, including yours, were not "basic math" as they required a whole lot of assumptions that were just guesses at the time. The fact that you can make this into a racial thing shows the depths of your own biases.
