Good article. You touched on the feelings of a lot of men. When I was employed by the State of Alaska, they required all of us to take a course in EEO training. The subject was basically differences with Alaska natives, and how to recognize and avoid sexual assault or harassment. We all groused about having to take time away from our jobs to sit through the course. But it also made an impact on me, and in the subsequent 35 years of professional employment, I never had even the slightest hint of scandal or complaint about my behavior at work. But I think back on several potential attachments I might have made if I wasn't so careful and guarded. It is not an easy line to walk.
