I admit that "a lot" of White men are assholes. But not all of us. I do often confront them when I see bad behavior, but my powers to influence them is not much more than yours.

And "a lot" of writers who feel a need to shame and tear apart White men do use phrases like "White men", "White people", "all White people", etc. I keep hoping we can get past that so that we can have an effective conversation about it.
