This article only works if you accept the new, uncertified definition of racism. Actions that treat one group different from another is discrimination. The current fad among writers on this topic is to redefine discrimination as racism. That is false, and counterproductive.
It also flies in the face of other writers, such as Marley K. or Catherine Pugh on this site, that focus on racism as an attitude, and insist that all White people are racist. If all White people are racist, and racism is about action, then all White people would be engaged in actions to discriminate against Black people. That is not the case, by a long shot.
