I call people by whatever pronoun they identify with. I also send Christmas cards to Christians and Hanukkah cards to Jews. It's just a matter of respect.

However (go ahead shoot me) I will NOT use plural pronouns to refer to singular individuals. That goes beyond respect into the realm of narcissism. I respect people's choices, or their identities, but I also respect the English language.
