Maybe the public is ignorant in your eyes, but it doesn't take a policing expert to know that pressing your knee on the neck of a helpless victim until they are dead, or shooting someone in the back, or shooting someone 20 times, is not proper policing. Any person with any sense of moral values knows that brutalizing citizens unnecessarily is not proper policing.
