I just put you in my follow list. I love articles like this, keep them coming. One of the reasons I love English is precisely because it borrows profusely from other language. The ubiquity of words from the Vikings, or the Spanish, or the French (almost any English word ending in 'y' is the same word in French, ending with an 'e') undoubtedly stems from the occupation of England by various other nations in history. But English embraces this adoption, while France is extremely parochial about their language. It is hard to learn, even for English speakers, but that is part of what makes it so rich and beautiful.
