I look at all the universes around me - my universe, the universe of plants and animals, the universe of the oceans - there is no animal, insect, or plague as dangerous and destructive as the human race. Almost no animal hunts other animals for pleasure, or imprisons their own kind. We are quite unique in our ability to be cruel and heartless. Nothing tops humankind, and I'm hoping that holds across the stars.
