I think the issue gets clouded by terminology. Many writers, backed up by anthropologists, make the case that there is no "White" or "Black", that there is more genetic difference within these categories than between them. But there is a genetic concept of White and Black, and there is a cultural construct. It is the latter that is the focus of the debate.
