I'm not sure what the point of this article is. It seems to be trying to solve a problem that rarely exists. I have seen very few articles about White privilege written by White authors, so whenever I read about it it is almost always by a Black author, mostly trying to excoriate me and shame me because of the actions and legacies of my "ancestors", which somehow include Confederate slave owners.

When I do read about something about White privilege written by a White author, like this one, it is usually one who is already certified woke. Funny, but by the time you get through reading this article, and you see he is White, you get the feeling you were not supposed to read the article.
