"...it’ll become more mainstream for both sexes to have children,,,"
I don't think that's correct It may become more mainstream for both genders to have children, but from what I understand only the female sex can get pregnant and bear children. That requires ovaries, a uterus, falopian tubes, and other bits that only females possess.
For some reason transgender and binary individuals are often portrayed as more enlightened, or more in tune with their true selves. Gay men prefer sex with men, and many assume a very feminine persona. But they are still males and still call themselves men. That to me seems more honest. Is it possible that the recent increase in transgender determinations could stem in large part because of the stereotypes about men and women, the roles and behaviors and affectations they are expected to abide by? If we didn't make so many demands, might not many trans women prefer to stay as men, if they could do so and still be true to themselves?
I imagine I will be called transphobic for this. Oh well. By the way, I really appreciate good writing. Not so easy to find, especially at this site.
