Kudos. Thanks. I try to be an ally. I fully support BLM and Antifa, I joined some support groups, I've attended some protests, I donate money to causes. I am aware of my prejudices and work on them every day. I am not a fan of the rampant PC these days, but I avoid words and phrases that are patently offensive.

But then I read articles that have the primary purpose of making me feel shame, simply because my parents were White. Even though my ancestors were poor dirt farmers, and were closer to BEING slaves than owning slaves.

I believe that you imply that we should spend less time and energy on these exercises, and more on concrete efforts to remove the institutional and systemic barriers to an egalitarian society. I applaud this sentiment.
