Nevertheless, I would prefer that Texas, and the rest of the Confederate states, secede and form their own countries. I would support a national referendum or congressional legislation to accomplish this. I don't see any compelling need to be associated with them. And if this were to happen, you'd have a choice to stay in Taxasistan, or move to the new Western or Northeastern States of America.
