OK. Since Whiteness is just a construct, and is such a bad thing, then I will no longer refer to myself as White. In one day, I became just like you! Because, I assume since there is no Whiteness there can be no Blackness either - if Whiteness is defined as based on nothing but subjugation of Blacks, then Blackness can be based on nothing more than subjugation by Whites.

Now, if you come back and say, no, Blackness is based on a whole range of characteristics and experiences outside of Whiteness, then I can say the exact same thing about Whiteness. The argument then breaks down into a debate about which culture is better.

But what do I call my self now? Since my ancestors back a few generations all come from the British Isles, should I call myself a British-American, or a European-American?
