One thing I have found traveling is that the rest of the world may not think much of or about us, but they watch us like a hawk. I spent some time the last few years in New Zealand (a really greatest country). They are not afraid to talk about American politics, and they generally knew more about what was going on than I did, and I am a news junkie.
