Question for the author and anybody else. Currently the count is 50 Rs and 46 Ds. If the universe flips over and we manage to get both Georgia seats, it will be 50-48. We would have a tie and a voting majority only because the two independents (King and Sanders) caucus with Dems. But doesn't that mean that the Rs still have the majority for the purpose of determining the majority leader and appointments to committee chairs?
