So what you are saying is that global warming, terrorism, income inequality, pandemics, wars only affect White people? I normally also include, although I didn’t list it here, racial justice in the list of serious problems. I understand that for Blacks the immediacy of police brutality and harassment, disparate judicial treatment, and many forms of systemic racism make them high or highest priority. But please explain to me how stereotyping like this — “White men can’t jump”, “White people can’t dance”, “White people can’t cook”, “All White people are racist” — can contribute in any way toward a solution to the problems of racism. Please explain how I am supposed to just say, “Yeah, I’m White, so I guess I am inherently inferior in my ability to cook”. IMHO, articles like this only serve to further split the races apart. Maybe that is what you are after.
