Sorry, but I have spent a lifetime working on my own attitudes based on the moral values I was taught and which have evolved over time. Yet on this site I am branded as racist, misogynist, and homophobic - by people who know nothing about me - simply because I am a straight White male.

When you overgeneralize your insults, you should expect pushback. That is not due to the insecurity of those insulted, it is due to the inability of writers to see that not all issues are black or white dichotomies.
