Thanks for this. The one thing that seems to be consistent across many articles on Medium is gross overgeneralization - "Men, stop doing this..." "White people, listen up..." If a writer experiences something, it suddenly becomes a cultural issue that affects everyone, except it isn't. It's a cheap way to make money off of lazy writing.
