That is an interesting comment, coming from a French person. If there is one country that is dead set against anyone invading their culture, even using government authorities, it would be France. One of the smallest vocabularies, because they won't adopt foreign words. Lawsuits against foreign wine makers for implying their wines even meet French standards. France is a country that not only opposes appropriation FROM other cultures, but also other cultures adopting French.

But I do love Paris.
