This doctor has been widely rebuked. He provides no evidence that it works, just his opinion that it could work at the early stages - note that this was an op ed on the Opinion page. He says there have been no studies, but that is a lie, he ignores an extensive study by the WHO, among others, which found very little positive effect on the virus but lots of dangerous side effects.
And if instead it were true that these studies were lacking, it is a poor excuse of a doctor to promote a drug that HE SAYS has not been adequately tested and studied. That is a failure of his hippocratic oath.
