This is how balance is achieved. For too long villains were disproportionately people of color. Yes, there were White villains, but quite often these villains were the crazed geniuses trying to take over the world. Common criminals were mostly Black, terrorists mostly dark-skinned Muslims, drug dealers mostly Latinos. This has been a problem in Hollywood for a long time. The push to reset that and create a more balanced visual representation of the world results in the pendulum going too far, but there is nothing wrong with that given the long period of time it spent on the other side. It will all even out over time, in a better and more diverse equilibrium.
