This is the typical kind of attack by militant theists - atheists who actually present their points of view, and especially if they are published (gasp!), they are labeled extremists. I will say this - if pushing back and objecting to claims about God or claims about what atheists believe is considered extreme, or militant, count me in.

Views of atheists are every bit as relevant and deserve attention just as much as those of theists, and attempts to shut us up so that we don't rock the boat show an insecurity and lack of conviction on the part of theists. The difference is that atheists are just defending our views, it is theists who are the aggressors.

So if you want to call me a militant atheist, have at it.
