"Toxic masculinity" is not a thing. It is a catch-all phrase to label male assholes. The problem with it is that it makes an implication that all men are subject to this toxic masculinity, and only enlightened men can rise above it.

Bull. "Toxic masculinity"is a pseudo-intellectual invention, to put a label on assholes. As such it is not a big deal, but it invariably leads to less thoughtful people attaching it to everyone who objects to a "woke" person's attack.

I am really getting sick and tired of self-appointed geniuses writing screeds in which they cite some miserable event in their past and then assigning it to the whole gender, or the whole race. Our public discourse has really degenerated, and for those of you saying "Yeah, you deserve it", well, good luck getting the changes you desire.
