Yeah, that would be nice, but that is not how the world works. ID politics happens everywhere every day. Blacks in Africa identify by their tribes. Asians identify by region or country. It is always important for some people to identify others by their religion, or their sexual identity, or their politics. That is human nature, at least to this point in our evolution.
