You forgot about one of the most nefarious types of lies - the "wag-the-dog" lie. This could very well be that, planned in advance, only a few people know about it. The tests were administered in the WH. The WR doctors may just accept this as evidence and work on him from this premise. Which would lead them to the conclusion that his case was mild and he is recovering rapidly. And then he can be released after just a few days, and then tRump can emerge as a tough guy, and crow that the virus is really not that bad, as he has been saying.

Do I believe this? Meh... I don't tend to "believe" anything without evidence, and we don't have any evidence of it. But I don't completely dismiss it either. Remember that he had several nefarious actors involved in all kinds of international subterfuge and we didn't know anything about it for many months. This is not that far-fetched.

What is so distinctive about this guy and his administration is that we would be having this conversation at all. Nothing he says or does can be trusted. Everything has to be verified with hard evidence. The most dishonest public figure in memory.
