You give her too much credit. If you read her articles, or look for articles by a writer named Marley K., you’ll understand that she meant what she said. These writers and others have taken their cues from Te Nahisi Coates, who believes that all problems facing Black people are due to White actions, and Marley K. even wrote an article called “Yes, All White People are Racist”, and the title was not an exaggeration for effect. It seems that the number one goal of these writers is to troll White people, provoking anger or guilt.

Catherine, in particular, seems to enjoy it when you push back, thinking she “triggered” you, which brings her pleasure. I’ve had several communications just like this with her.
