Your argument for the skewed Senate is wrong. The putative reason was to protect minority rights, but the real reason was to get the slave states in the South to ratify it. And never was it anticipated that the discrepancies could be as massive as they are today. It was a huge mistake, and one that will hasten the end of the democratic experiment that it started.
